Solid Executive Search in Real Estate - Senior Vice President - Capital Management - Based in Amsterdam - EMEA Region
Our client, based in Amsterdam, is part of a globally operating real estate company.
This role will support the Group’s capital raising initiatives, investor engagement activities, and the marketing of the Group and its private funds across the EMEA region. The position will contribute to the execution of the Group’s overall business strategy by strengthening its private capital platform and investor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to expand the Group’s private capital management business in alignment with its long-term growth objectives.
Support the capital raising process, with a particular focus on investor marketing and the coordination and management of investor due diligence requirements across the EMEA region for private real estate funds and capital partnerships.
Actively manage and cultivate relationships with institutional investors, private capital partners, and capital raising intermediaries, while developing a strong understanding of investors’ allocation preferences and deployment requirements within EMEA.
Conduct market research and analysis on private funds and listed comparables, including REITs and asset managers, to monitor capital flows, allocation trends, and broader developments in real estate investment strategies.
Maintain high-quality communication and coordination with both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Real Estate, or an equivalent discipline.
A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in capital raising across multiple strategies, gained within a large real estate manager, operator, or listed REIT with private equity platforms.
Demonstrated expertise in marketing, investor relations, and communications, supported by a strong foundation in real estate investment and financial analysis.
Proactive, resourceful, and independent professional with an innovative mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with global teams, including close coordination with the Group’s Asian-based team.
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Proven experience with reputable real estate firms
Demonstrated track record in capital raising / fundraising across the EMEA region
Comfortable operating in an individual contributor role with a high level of autonomy
The base salary for this position ranges from EUR 15,000 to EUR 18,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
